I heard a cool piece of music on the radio today: “Letter from Home” by Aaron Copland, written during World War 2 in 1944. It made me realize I should update my “music I want” list:

• Adams, John – Christian Zeal and Activity
• Bloch, Ernest – Ex-voto and Sacred Dance (two pieces for piano)
• Bloch, Ernest – 3 Nocturnes (piano, violin, cello)
• Bloch, Ernest – 4 episodes (basically anything by Bloch is good)

• Corigliano, John – Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man
• Mahler, Gustav – Symphonies 3,4,7, and 8
• Varese, Edgard – Ameriques
